5 top tips why to Art Journal?
January is a month of new beginnings and a lot of us like to set ourselves new challenges and routines. Self Care is a big one and checking in with ourselves to see how we REALLY feel is a great start. Part of my daily self care routine is to go to my art journal for 15 mins in the morning. I thought I would share with you my 5 top tips of how easy Art Journaling is.
Have a space set up in a corner of your room or on a table so you can just go to it when you want to.
Don’t feel you have to work on only one page at a time. You can switch from page to page and flip back to work on others from the day before.
Put in any images, words, scribbles or doodles you have found, liked or collected.
Have a little notebook with you maybe keep it in your bag and use it to check in with your feelings. One word is enough.
Inspiration is all around you. Whatever I see when Im outside, mindful walks outside are great to kick start your creativity
Have you any new routines and you up for a new challenge? Im really excited to welcome new faces onto my lastest TASTER workshop at the new Arts venue in Winchester, Hampshire! All levels of experience are welcome to come an give it a go.
